Trane Technologies’ Thermo King®, manufacturer of temperature control solutions in transportation, has unveiled its new C-Series range for small, medium and large vans and trucks.

With the new C-550, C-650 and C-750 single temperature refrigeration units, the Thermo King C Series is now suitable for vehicles up to 50 m3, delivering the high performance needed for full spectrum urban distribution with fresh, frozen and heat modes.

Thermo King's compressor-driven C-Series is suited to the rigorous demands of multiple-delivery distribution cycles and offers powerful cooling and heating capacity to protect the load even when ambient temperatures reach maximum or minimum levels.
The improved air flow maximizes internal air circulation to protect cargo inside vehicles up to 8 meters in length.
Thermo King's C Series has a compact design with reduced weight and size to allow customers to maximize payload volumes.

Main features are:

• Capacities from 5.2 kW to 6.8 kW that expand the C Series to seven models with main-only operation without standby suitable for front-mount, roof-mounted and vehicle cuvette applications up to 50 m3.
• New compact design weighing up to 30% less than an equivalent vehicle-powered system for increased operational efficiency and maximized payload.
• High heating and cooling capacities to cover the entire spectrum of city distribution applications with a single unit and reliable protection for fresh and frozen goods.
• Improved airflow thanks to powerful fans combined with a new evaporator coil and highly efficient chassis design.
• Easy-to-use CSR Series C Smart Reefer in-cab controller that allows drivers to optimize unit performance and ensure load protection.

The C Series is manufactured and tested at the Thermo King manufacturing facility in Barcelona, Spain. The value is also supported by a 2-year warranty on the entire unit.
