According to reports from various sources, including UkrainianNews, the Japanese government has decided to expand restrictions on Russia and to ban the export of high-tech products to this country due to it military aggression against Ukraine.

"In relation to the current international situation in Ukraine, as well as in order to promote Japan's international efforts to maintain international peace, we publish and implement the Council of Ministers". This was reported on the website of the Ministry of the Economy of Japan.

Among the banned exports are not only quantum computers, modeling equipment, LED production equipment, vacuum pumps, polymers but also refrigeration equipment.

The ban on the supply of the aforementioned products to Russia took place on May 20.

Also according to Ukrainian News, on Thursday May 12, US Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo said that sanctions on imports of high-tech products are forcing Russia to use refrigerator and dishwasher parts in military equipment.
