Thanks to its new design, the series is fully optimized for both A2L and A1 refrigerants and offers further advantages in terms of efficiency, reliability and safety to distributors, installers and operators.
With the new generation of Copeland ZX outdoor refrigeration units for low-GWP A2L refrigerants, Emerson is meeting plant owners and suppliers by offering them a long-term alternative. Among the advantages of the new solutions, the flexibility of the refrigerant and the F-Gas certification stand out, as well as the time and cost savings thanks to the compact and lightweight format.
With this new range, Emerson offers a low GWP solution for refrigeration industry applications that meets space and noise constraints. The use of the new Copeland scroll compressors optimized for A2L refrigerants allows to reduce energy consumption as well as save on operating costs. The new series of refrigeration units is approved for use with multiple low global warming potential A2L refrigerants, such as R454A, R454C and R455A, thus offering great flexibility and simplifying logistics since a single model fits numerous applications.
The modified hermetic design, innovative control logic and high quality components ensure compliance with the latest industry regulations for applications using A2L refrigerants. The presence of an advanced electronic control allows one to manage the parameters precisely, as well as view the status of the system. The electronic protection functions and the oil separator help ensure optimal system safety.
