In February 2020, Emerson has launched in Europe its popular Copeland Mobile smartphone app, that provides on-the-go access to Emerson’s OPI database for Copeland compressors.

The app gives professionals of the HVAC sector access to around 3,000 models of Copeland products including both air conditioning and refrigeration products employed in a variety of HVACR applications. Users, therefore, can easily find cross reference service replacements for the available compressors models as they are directly and easily connected to the wide network of official European wholesalers.

According to Dieter Vansteenkiste, director wholesale sales and lifecycle management at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions Europe, this tool offers installers significant efficiency improvements and time saving as it shows the correct service products within a few clicks on.

Users just need to log in with their OPI username or register for a new personal account. Afterwards, they can find a compressor model simply by typing the model’s name or choosing it among the auto-fill recommendation list.

Once a model and application are selected, a variety of options are available within the home menu screen to search for information pertaining to the chosen model and eventually deploy one of the numerous options.

Other features of the Copeland Mobile include: instant updates via OPI database, where-to-buy lookup, serial number validation and scanning, compressor model information, electrical wiring diagrams, compressor diagnostics and replacement model cross reference.
