Embraco, global supplier of refrigeration technology for the entire domestic and commercial cold chain and brand of Nidec Global Appliance, brings to Chillventa 2022 a portfolio that aims to respond to the most pressing needs of the market: Sustainability, energy efficiency and technological solutions.
The current flagship products of the portfolio will be presented at the stand number 7-130, on 11-13 October, to guarantee visibility to a complete and thought-out range of solutions for all segments of commercial refrigeration: Merchandisers, food retail, food service and medical applications.

At Chillventa, visitors will have a taste of the new Embraco variable speed compressor for multi-door applications, the VNEX, capable of serving freezers and commercial refrigerators from 3 to 4 doors, guaranteeing high levels of energy efficiency.

Other compressors to be launched will be the new Scrolls, now available in both propane and variable speed. The Scroll family was launched by Embraco in 2017, to increase the brand's offer with solutions beyond 2 HP, reaching 6 HP in low temperature and 13 HP in medium / high temperature. The new models increase the environmental sustainability of the family, through the use of the R290 refrigerant with ultra-low GWP, and extra energy efficiency, thanks to the use of variable speed technology.

The Embraco stand will host the main hermetic variable speed compressor solutions for commercial applications, all running on natural refrigerants (R600a or R290). They are characterized by the highest levels of energy efficiency on the market, from the smallest to the largest: FMS, FMX, FMF, VES, VEM, VEH and VNEX.

Among the new products launched, two Bioma models will be shown, a family of condensing units designed for exceptional silence and easy access to components. This solution for cold rooms and outdoor applications reduces the noise level by about 50% compared to the best competing applications.

One of the new models is the 5HP Biome running thanks to a variable speed Scroll compressor, which is added to the existing portfolio (up to 10kW of capacity). The other new Biome has two Scroll compressors inside: One with variable speed (inverter) and one with fixed speed. The pair extends the range's cooling capacity from current 10kW (5HP) to 20kW (10HP), simplifying the installation process of larger applications, which required two units. Both units are more corrosion resistant, ideal for outdoor applications.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the new range of condensing units open to R290 for the European market, to be used in applications such as refrigerated counters, blast chillers and cold rooms. The models are equipped with a series of new components and are available with both on-off and variable speed compressors, to operate with the required energy efficiency.

At Chillventa, Embraco also strengthens its positioning as the holder of a complete portfolio of fixed speed compressors (also known as on-off) capable of covering the entire range of commercial applications. It starts with compressors of 3 cc of displacement and 144 W of cooling capacity, such as the EM, up to the 38 cc and 1.7 kW (in LBP) of the NJX.

All the families of on-off compressors that will be present at Chillventa have one of the highest energy efficiency on the market as regards on-off compressors, and have options for R290, natural refrigerant with GWP lower than 1, according to the new studies from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, released in August 2021.
