DORIN, leading manufacturer of refrigeration compressors and pioneer in solutions for natural refrigerants, for 2021 has decided to further consolidate its line of natural gas compressors, ECOS, with the strengthening of the cooling capacities and the increase of range products.

In the family of CO2 compressors, the CD family, the CD600 range, already winner of the AHR Innovation Awards 2021, has in fact been further enhanced with the entry of a new model, the CD6 901-99B. A model that, once again, sets in motion the future, innovation and revolutionizes industrial refrigeration.

This 6-cylinder compressor is able to reach a swept volume of 99 m3 / h and a cooling capacity of 190kW, setting unprecedented standards, which make it the most powerful CO2 semi-hermetic subcritical compressor ever.

UL certified, also ready for the American market, it maintains all the important features of the new CD600 range:

• Doubles the cooling capacity delivered by a single compressor
• Reduces construction costs compared to an ammonia solution
• Reduces the flow temperature
• Guarantees longer compressor life and higher C.O.P. 
• Ensures perfect lubrication
• Guarantees reduced oil drag

In addition to the CD family, DORIN is constantly updating its HEX series, the range of propane compressors, also intended for use in potentially explosive areas and therefore equipped with ATEX certification.

A wide range of compressors, from 2 up to 8 cylinders, covering displaced volumes from 4.42 to 244.78 m3 / h, with electrical powers from 0.5 to 90 hp.

The high COP values, the fluid dynamic optimization of the internal passages, the adoption of high efficiency motors, the introduction of the latest generation components, the differential oil pressure sensor, the presence of a special oil sight glass, the PTC sensor for temperature control, together with extremely low noise levels, define some of the main characteristics of this range.

HEX and CD series, two families of continuously evolving ranges that together form the ECOS line by DORIN, a line of natural gas compressors with low environmental impact (GWP even equal to 1 in the case of CO2) with the aim of providing a valid alternative to the use of other polluting or noxious gases, guaranteeing the same level of efficiency, even in applications (industrial) where the huge requests for cooling capacities made it the obligatory choice.
