Carrier Global Corporation has entered into an agreement with Office Partners XXIII Block G1 LLC (Office Partners) to design, build and operate the heating and air conditioning system of the new FNB Financial Center in Pittsburgh. Carrier will provide a turnkey high-efficiency heating and cooling system for the new building, which will help achieve the LEED Silver rating. Backed by advanced Abound digital controls and BluEdge service capabilities, the Carrier Cooling-as-a-Service offering will ensure high energy efficiency, uptime and comfort, while reducing the risk of operational costs for the building owner.

The FNB Financial Center is a new 26-story and 475,000-square-foot mixed-use tower with Class A offices that will consolidate the operations of the regional headquarters of FNB Corporation. The FNB Financial Center is the first step in redeveloping the site in Pittsburgh's Lower Hill District.

Carrier contributed to the design and configuration of the 1,250-ton central plant, which includes the best Carrier chillers in the category, combined with high-efficiency condensing boilers, continuously optimized by advanced controls. The plant will be supported by Carrier's IoT Abound platform for remote monitoring, including advanced analysis for commissioning and continuous diagnostics, offering high availability of cooling and heating capacity.

Carrier's assistance experts will manage, maintain and update the system for the duration of the contract, to ensure that it operates at the highest level of energy efficiency, maintaining comfort for the occupants of the building and ensuring the lowest cost of operations.

The tower is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
