Since the beginning of March 2021, BITZER Digital Network (BDN) is available to all partners of BITZER, a specialist in refrigeration and air conditioning. Through BDN, BITZER allows users to easily access valuable digital services related to BITZER compressors for refrigeration and air conditioning.

BITZER contributes to the development of the Internet of Things in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector: BDN offers its users important information on products and applications for all BITZER products. These include, for example, online monitoring, reports on compressor operation and immediate help in troubleshooting. The basis for this is the cloud provided by BITZER, as well as the know-how and IQ products of the refrigeration and air conditioning specialist. In combination with a targeted data analysis, an innovative solution is born on the market that helps BITZER partners to set up and expand their own digital service infrastructure, allowing them to benefit from the ease of connection to their refrigeration systems and allowing both remote access and real-time troubleshooting.

With BDN, users can both monitor the components of their refrigeration systems from a global perspective and carry out detailed analyzes. This includes every aspect: From electronic database of spare parts to online documentation, through the selection software and monitoring of the compressors, up to advanced analysis. BDN allows you to register all BITZER products, thus obtaining access to important technical information, certificates and approvals. In addition, this tool allows you to upload documents relating to the application and manage maintenance activities.

Cloud connection is also possible for BITZER IQ products: This allows for the saving and detailed analysis of compressor operating data with a resolution never seen before. The Compressor Operation Report provides users with practical information that they can use to improve all aspects of system performance, as well as to troubleshoot errors. In case of anomalies, a notification is sent directly to the associated person. In this way, for example, it is possible to avoid unnecessary exits of service technicians and to reduce, or even prevent, the unexpected downtimes of refrigeration systems.

Individual users and companies can access BDN via the myBITZER portal. Here you can create and manage components, as well as entire plants and locations, with just a few clicks on the relevant terminals. In addition, through the BITZER SPOT app or other QR code readers, you can register BITZER products and open them in BDN. If necessary, the different levels of authorization for registered products can be managed independently. 

For the cloud connection, BITZER provides a completely preconfigured gateway that allows users to start integration and use immediately.
